What we treat
Pain that outlasted the treatments you already tried
Almost everyone who walks into my studio has already been somewhere else first. Physical therapy that ended before they were better. Chiropractic that helped for a week at a time. An injection that bought a quiet month. A scan that "showed something" but didn't explain the pain.
The common thread in those cases is a pain system stuck in protection mode — and a body that lost capacity while everyone focused on the sore spot. My work addresses both: calm the system down with Cognitive Functional Therapy combined with a method known as Applied Functional Science — a system that identifies when the symptom and the cause of the pain are in different places, and how to use the whole body to create a different outcome than traditional methods — then rebuild real strength so the change lasts. One-on-one, 45–60 minutes at a time, with a clear endpoint.
