In short: I hold a Certificate IV in Nutrition Coaching, and it's part of every training session, in the studio or on Zoom.
You can train well and still stall because the food side never got looked at. You can also eat carefully and get nowhere because the training isn't asking your body for anything. I'd rather handle both, so they pull in the same direction.
Who it helps most
People on a GLP-1. Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound. Appetite drops and protein is usually the first thing to go. The job is keeping your muscle while the medication does its work. More on training on a GLP-1 →
People training for a sport. Skiers getting ready for the season, golfers, runners, hikers and cyclists. Eating enough to train, recover and show up strong on the day. Training by activity →
People with a weight-related goal. I'd rather you measure what the weight is made of than chase the scale. Why the scale lies →
How it works
It starts in the 30-minute assessment, $57. We talk about what you eat now, what you've tried, and what gets in the way. Then we set one or two targets you'll actually hit, in food you'll actually eat.
After that it's part of the session. We check in, adjust, and keep it simple. Sessions are $200 for 60 minutes or $110 for 30, the same in the studio at 1800 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver or on Zoom.
What it isn't
It isn't a meal plan you get emailed and forget. It isn't a diet with a name. And it isn't medical nutrition therapy: I'm not a registered dietitian, and if you have a condition that needs a medical diet, that stays with your doctor or dietitian. I'll work alongside them.
Some of my thinking on food, if you'd like to read first: holiday eating without the January penance and why the scale lies.
Results vary from person to person.
Bottom line: the food side is included, it's handled by the same person who trains you, and it starts at the assessment.
Questions about nutrition coaching
Does nutrition coaching cost extra?
No. Nutrition coaching is included in the session fee: $200 for 60 minutes or $110 for 30, in the studio or on Zoom. There's no separate appointment and no separate bill.
Can I book nutrition coaching on its own?
It comes with training rather than as a stand-alone service, because the food side and the training side are one plan. The first step is the 30-minute assessment.
Are you a dietitian?
No. I hold a Certificate IV in Nutrition Coaching. I'm not a registered dietitian, and I don't prescribe diets for medical conditions. If you need medical nutrition therapy, for diabetes or kidney disease for example, that stays with your doctor or a registered dietitian, and I'll work alongside them.
I'm on Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro. Is this for me?
Yes. Appetite drops hard on a GLP-1, and protein is usually the first thing to slide. We set a target in the assessment and adjust it as you go. Medication decisions stay with your prescriber.

Thirty minutes. One measurable change. Then you decide.
A 30-minute assessment, $57, in the studio or on Zoom. If it's not a fit I'll say so in the first half hour.
